Arsenal made a significant impact in the Champions League. They reached the semifinals for the first time after so many years. They defeated defending champions Real Madrid in the quarterfinals. 

Arsenal had a very solid defensive record throughout the tournament, although they got eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinal. Through their performance in the just concluded campaign, it shows the Gunners are ready to crush teams this new season.

Barcelona's journey came to an end in the semifinal against Inter Milan. However, their performance throughout the tournament was absolutely tremendous.

The team had a mixture of very experienced internationals like Manuel Neuer, Sane, Upamecano, Harry Kane and some  emerging talents like Olise and Musiala that helped to keep them very competitive throughout the tournament.
